Kansas basketball: Class of 2024 contact list tracker
Kansas basketball is still without a verbal commit for the Class of 2024, but they’ve been in contact with many high-profile recruits.
The Kansas Jayhawks have made a living through the transfer portal this offseason, but Bill Self is still actively recruiting kids in AAU. By September or October, most top recruits will have made their decisions. Hopefully, some of them decide to choose KU.
Although the coaching staff has extended scholarship offers to more than 40 players in the Class of 2024, they are in closer contact with some recruits than others. We compiled a list that you can check periodically if you want to know which guys are still possibilities for the Jayhawks. Included next to their names are their (if applicable) visit dates and whether KU has made their top list of schools yet.
Players Committed (Updated as of Monday, August 12, 10:00 p.m. CT)
- Flory Bidunga (Committed, Aug. 12)

- Chase McCarty (Official Visit Taken: June 5)
- Ketraleus “Bo” Aldridge (Unofficial Visit Taken: June 6)
- Jalil Bethea (Top 5, Official Visit Scheduled: Aug. 31)
- Mikey Lewis (Top 6)
- Vyctorius Miller (Unofficial Visit Taken: Sept. 31)
- Isaiah Elohim (Official Visit Taken: Feb. 25)
- Dylan Harper (Top 5)
- Naas Cunningham (Top 5)
- Labaron Philon (Top 4)
- Billy Richmond (Top 8, Official Visit Scheduled: Oct. 6)
- Liam McNeeley (Top 6)
- Patrick Ngongba (Top 8)
- Derik Queen
- Jared Harris (Official Visit Scheduled: Sept. 1)
- Emmanuel Stephen (Official Visit Scheduled: Sept. 5)
It could take weeks or months for them to commit, and Kansas is not necessarily the favorite to land anybody on this list. However, it is still encouraging to see KU in the running for the three best remaining high schoolers in the country (Harper, Johnson, and Bidunga).
Bo Aldridge could be a solid under-the-radar get, and McCarty’s first official visit was to Kansas. Both players would be impressive additions to the recruiting class.
Whenever a player starts picking up steam with Kansas — such as setting a visit date or including them in their final list — it will be reflected on this contact list tracker. As the summer progresses, fans could hear some good news on the recruiting trail.
