The months-long saga is going to officially come to a close as Stokes has taken fans on quite the rollercoaster with his commitment. First, it seemed like Kentucky had Stokes in the bag, but then Kansas and Oregon began to make a surge, and at the beginning of the year, Kansas became the frontrunner.
It has been speculated that this decision would have come sooner if Kansas weren't an Adidas school, as Stokes has an NIL deal with Nike, which is the brand Kentucky wears. At this point, though, the decision will be what it is.
