Bill Self is still working to rebuild his program after a disastrous collapse during the 2024-25 season. A big point of focus is bringing in the No. 1 prospect from the class of 2026, instead of him committing to any of the 16 other Division I offers he currently holds.

Tyran Stokes, a five-star small forward and the No. 1 recruit in the country for the class of 2026, visited Self and the Jayhawks over the weekend. Afterwards, Stokes shared some awesome content on social media.

Kansas sent Stokes an offer almost two years ago, on July 11, 2023, when the 6-foot-7, 225-pound PF was still a freshman in high school. During his most recent high school season, Stokes averaged 21 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.5 steals per game as a junior.
