Bill Self just pulled off one of his most impressive recruiting moves ever. Self and the Kansas Jayhawks landed four-star shooting guard Kohl Rosario, one of the most highly sought-after players in the class of 2026.
What's even better? Rosario announced he would reclassify to the class of 2025, joining the Jayhawks this summer so that he could play in the upcoming season.
Rosario picked Kansas over an onslaught of offers from other blue-blood programs, including the Duke Blue Devils, North Carolina Tar Heels, and more.
Over the last month, Rosario visited the Jayhawks, Blue Devils, Florida State Seminoles, Oregon Ducks, and Miami Hurricanes. However, home sweet home is Lawrence, and Self's class of 2025 just took a major step in the right direction.

The 6-5 shooting guard received offers from the likes of Oregon, Miami, Duke, Florida State, and others.… pic.twitter.com/Jxiu4xcWWg
The Miami native already stands at 6-foot-5 and 185 pounds, a comparable size to any other guard at the collegiate level. What makes him even more special? This kid can drive to the paint and get to the rim, unlike most other guards in the nation.

Before Rosario's commitment, Self and the Jayhawks held the No. 28 recruiting class of 2025. With his commitment, Kansas' incoming class is set to soar up the rankings.
Who will Kohl Rosario join in Kansas Jayhawks' class of 2025?
Rosario will join five-star shooting guard Darryn Peterson, three-star power forward Samis Calderon, and three-star shooting guard Corbin Allen in Kansas's recruiting class. Not to mention, Self also landed an elite class of players from the transfer portal as well.
Four-star small forward Tre White from Illinois, four-star point guard Jayden Dawson from Loyola Chicago, and four-star shooting guard Melvin Council all joined the Jayhawks from the transfer portal this spring.
Just in time, things are starting to look up for Self as his time with the Jayhawks was under more scrutiny than ever before.
