Mass Street’s roster in The Basketball Tournament seems to be set. Find out which former Kansas basketball star will take the floor in three days.

The Kansas Jayhawks have produced plenty of elite talent in the past, and several former KU stars will suit up in The Basketball Tournament (TBT) to represent the university.

It is a two-and-a-half week-long event that will take place in various areas of the country. Players from overseas, the NBA G-League, and other professional basketball leagues will compete. The only stipulation is that the player cannot be under contract with the NBA when they enter.

Because of that rule, Marcus and Markieff Morris — who both still play in the NBA — will not play in the event. Instead, they will serve as the head coaches.

This is the full roster of Mass Street TBT, according to thetournament.com:

The former Jayhawk point guard-big man tandem of Tyshawn Taylor and Thomas Robinson is expected to play for Mass Street, though it’s worth noting that “T-Rob” did not participate in Sunday’s team scrimmage. Dedric Lawson also was not present after being listed on the roster for over a month.

Nearly a half dozen former Kansas basketball players have backed out of the tournament thus far. Devon Dotson, Wayne Selden Jr., and Marcus Garrett are no longer on the roster. There might have been conflicting events for those players. Garrett played for the New York Knicks Summer League team.

The first Mass Street game will take place against “We Are D3” on July 19 at 8:00 p.m. CT. They are the No. 1 overall seed in the Wichita Regional. Games can be streamed on ESPN+.
