Clint Bowen’s son dresses up like Ben Heeney for Halloween, gets surprise

Every kid wants to someone awesome for Halloween. Lots of little girls want to be princesses and lots of little boys want to be their favorite athlete. For Baylor Bowen, son of Kansas football coach Clint Bowen, the choice was easy– he wanted to be Ben Heeney.

The little Bowen wore his the number 31 jersey, blue Kansas shorts, gloves with Jayhawks on them, a blue undershirt and bandana and sported a huge fake beard to boot at school on Friday. Little did he know, there was a surprise waiting for him– the real Ben Heeney.
I think Baylor pulls off the beard just a little bit better than Heeney does, sorry Ben.
Kansas football kicks off on Saturday against Baylor [the school, not Bowen’s son] at 3:00 p.m. CT.
