Kansas football extended its win streak to three games with a win over Nevada last night. These are five takeaways we gathered from the victory.

The Kansas Jayhawks have begun consecutive seasons with a 3-0 record for the first time since 1991-1992. Lance Leipold and his unit came out unscathed in non-conference play with victories over Missouri State, Illinois, and Nevada, respectively.

Heading into league play, Kansas has some of the loftiest expectations the program has held in over a decade. The offense boasts the preseason Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year in Jalon Daniels and one of the best running backs in the country. A strong trio of games only elevates the excitement surrounding Kansas football in 2023.

Last night, the Jayhawks took on the Wolf Pack in a West Coast showdown on the road. The team didn’t play its best football, but there were still some positives throughout.

We put together a list of five takeaways from Week 3 for Kansas football.
