Kansas head coach Bill Self finally landed a player out of the transfer portal, and it just so happened to be a player from a fellow Big 12 program, Utah. While many fans were hoping the announcement would come from Utah guard Terrence Brown, it actually came from forward Keanu Dawes.

This doesn't mean that the announcement from Brown isn't coming because during his visit to Lawrence, Brown was sending some signals on social media that have fans thinking he might be close to a decision.

Terrence Brown's social media post has every Kansas fan wondering if another announcement is coming

While Brown was still on campus on Thursday, he posted a photo on his Instagram story of former UNC Tar Heel Larry Brown and NBA legend Allen Iverson. While Larry Brown has ties to UNC as a former player, which could have Kansas fans feeling like this photo is a bad sign, let's not forget about his time with the Jayhawks.

Larry Brown had a stellar career at UNC before going on and playing for a couple of years. He then became an assistant coach at UNC before getting back to basketball on the court. Well into his coaching career after that, Brown took the head coaching position at Kansas in 1983 and was there till 1988.

In his final season with Kansas, Brown won a National Championship in 1988 before choosing to head to the NBA as a coach. So, while Larry Brown has connections with both UNC and Kansas, the photo being posted while on Terrence Brown's visit to Lawrence feels like the best hint possible for Jayhawks fans.

It seemed like Terrence Brown was a lock for the Tar Heels during his visit, but he never made a commitment, and Bill Self was able to get him on campus. Now, Brown is set to have a visit to Kentucky as well, but it seems even that is up in the air as well, which could mean Kansas could be getting another player from Utah, hopefully soon.
