Kansas vs. Gonzaga NCAA Tournament Round 2: How to watch, odds, and predictions for March Madness
By Sam Fariss
Kansas’ favorite time of year is here.
The Jayhawks earned the No. 4 seed in the Midwest Region of the bracket and are set to face the No. 5 seed Gonzaga Bulldogs.
Devastatingly for Kansas, star guard Kevin McCullar Jr. is out for the rest of the tournament due to a season-ending knee injury.
This is the second consecutive Bulldog matchup for the Jayhawks as they most recently defeated Samford on a last-minute foul call.
Kansas went dancing last season but didn’t make it past the Round of 32. At the end of the 2022 season? The Jayhawks brought home the championship banner.

Kansas vs. Samford NCAA Tournament Round 2 odds
With McCullar out, Kansas is entering this game as the 3.5-point underdogs. That combined with the Jayhawks’ shaky win on Thursday has them at +140 on the money line while Gonzaga sits at -170 for betting.
The over-under currently rests at 152.5 which I expect the teams to blow out of the water. My best advice would be to bet over 152.5 for the point because I think this game may go into overtime and the combined score will be closer to 170 points.
Kansas vs. Gonzaga NCAA Tournament Round 2 prediction
Since Kansas struggled against the 13th-seeded Samford Bulldogs, I don’t think this game will go particularly well for the Jayhawks.
The Zags have been a formidable opponent for teams that cross their path and they most recently crushed the McNeese State Cowboys 86-65 in the First Round.
I believe that the Bulldogs will hit the ground running in this game and while it may go into OT, Gonzaga will walk away victorious
