Kansas football dealt massive injury blow ahead of UNLV matchup
Kansas football fans are excited for this week's matchup against the UNLV Rebels as the Jayhawks look to bounce back from a disappointing Week 2 loss vs. Illinois. However, the team was dealt some unfortunate news less than an hour before start time.

Hishaw is the backup running back behind superstar Devin Neal. He ran for a career-high 626 yards and eight touchdowns in 2023 and has surpassed the century mark over two games this year.
The complementary tailback has been named to the Preseason Doak Walker Award Watch List in consecutive seasons. In his absence, third-string running back Sevion Morrison should receive the bulk of his work. The former Nebraska Cornhusker has carried the ball eight times for 45 yards and one score in 2024.
