Prior to being one of the best up-and-coming college football programs in the FBS, the Kansas Jayhawks put out an abysmal product for over a decade. The final head coach who led KU before program-builder Lance Leipold took over at the helm was Les Miles, an accomplished leader who won a national championship at LSU.

In addition to winning just three games in two years and being responsible for one of the worst seasons in program history, his tenure in Lawrence came to an abrupt end after reports surfaced that a former LSU student accused him of engaging in improper sexual conduct while he was the coach. Miles was subsequently fired from what was likely his final NCAA job ever again, but he continues to make headlines for the wrong reasons.

Former Kansas football HC Les Miles sues LSU for vacating his wins

You heard that right — Miles is suing his former school because he claims they were responsible for keeping him out of the Hall of Fame. If you're confused, we'll explain.

To make the College Football Hall of Fame, a coach must have been a head football coach for 10+ years and coached at least 100 games with a .600 win percentage. Miles finished his career with a 0.665% win percentage, but LSU vacated 37 wins during his tenure from 2012-2015 due to impermissible benefits paid to the father of a former player.

Instead of sitting well above the 60% threshold, Miles' career win percentage is 0.0034% short of what is needed to qualify for a Hall of Fame candidacy. If he had won four games at Kansas instead of three, he'd be eligible. But unfortunately for him, that is not the case.

According to FOX News, Miles is searching for an "appropriate remedy for the blot placed on his good name and reputation." Take that as you will given his history and long resume of scandals.

Miles has shown time and time again that he is a clown. Kansas likely regrets hiring him as head coach, but Jayhawk supporters will agree that it was worth it to bring Leipold aboard.
