Bill Self and Kansas basketball have zeroed in on several recruits during the offseason, earning official visits from some of the top high school prospects in the country. While the Jayhawks are looking to earn commitments from top-five players such as AJ Dybantsa and Darryn Peterson, there are some under-the-radar wings that KU is keeping tabs on.

This past weekend, top-40 recruit London Jemison embarked on an official visit to campus. The 6-foot-7 Connecticut native is down to a final six of Kansas, Alabama, Syracuse, Virginia, Vanderbilt, and Louisville, and the Jayhawks might have scored some extra points with the recent visit.

After completing a trip to Vanderbilt, Jemison traveled to Lawrence for another official visit. He still has visits scheduled for Alabama, Louisville, and Virginia, and his college decision should come soon after.

Jemison is one of the fastest-rising prospects in the 2025 class. 247 Sports has him ranked as the No. 37 player in the country and the top player in the state of Connecticut. He is a versatile wing who can push the floor and hit spot-up jump shots. His defense has also been lauded by many scouts in recent months.

With KJ Adams set to graduate after this season, the Jayhawks will surely need some extra depth in the frontcourt next year. Given his physical tools, Jemison could be a long-term piece for Coach Self to develop over time. Another player Kansas is steadily recruiting is Texas-based forward Sebastian Williams-Adams.

Here is what Jemison had to say about Kansas during an interview at Peach Jam:

"I’d say the coaching staff has done a good job recruiting me. Play style-wise, they’ve always had good, big, wings in the past and see me as a pro-style wing who can push the ball and shoot it."
