3 most likely Kansas basketball players to leave the Jayhawks this offseason
These players might not be back with the Jayhawks next year
Elmarko Jackson
Jackson is an explosive athlete who showed promise in his first year in Lawrence, but the former McDonald's All-American was often underwhelming. He moved from the starting rotation to the bench during conference play, appearing in fewer than 10 minutes in six of KU's final 17 games.
Zeke Mayo currently has the starting shooting guard spot locked down, and the aforementioned guards are still in the mix. There might be too much competition surrounding Jackson to make the fit possible, and there's no doubt that many schools would make room for a former 5-star prospect.
While Jackson explicitly stated he would not transfer from KU during the season, there's no telling how true that might be. Time will tell in the next few weeks.
