Left tackle. . . Left Tackle. player. . . Left Tackle. LT. 462

Dominick Puni and Logan Brown left for the NFL Draft, opening up the left tackle position for those hoping to slide into Kanas’ starting offensive line.

Losing the entire depth at the left tackle position, Leipold either has to move someone over or find a fresh face to put to work. He will have freshmen David Abajian, Kene Anene, Carter Lavrusky, and Harrison Utley to evaluate.

He also has a handful of returners who played in different offensive line positions throughout last year. Bryce Cabeldue and Calvin Clements appeared at right tackle during 2023, both could make for good left tackle replacements.

Ar’maj Reed-Adams and Kobe Baynes split time at left guard and were supported by Nolan Gorczyca, all of whom could make a good fit for the role as well.

Time will only which player slides into the starting job but I would keep an eye out for word on Clements and Baynes to take the spot.
