The Kansas basketball team has its last warm-up game before entering one of the most brutal stretches of non-conference games as you will ever see. The Princeton Tigers won’t be a pushover by any means, but they aren’t Duke or UConn either.

On Tuesday, KU blew away Texas A&M-CC by 29 points, even though Darryn Peterson missed yet another game, this time because of hamstring soreness. It did provide other players deeper on the roster to make contributions.

Fourteen players saw at least three minutes of action, and 11 scored. Four players scored in double figures, led by Kohl Rosario with 16 points.

The extra minutes will surely benefit this team down the road if injuries or foul troubles become factors in games.

Projected Kansas starting lineup vs Princeton

Peterson’s health will determine what the starting lineup may look like, but assuming he can play, it should look like this.

  • Darryn Peterson - 21.5 points per game (2 games)
  • Kohl Rosario - 9.7 points per game
  • Melvin COuncil Jr. - 6.7 points per game
  • Tre White - 10.0 points per game
  • Flory Bidunga - 14.3 points per game

If Peterson can’t go again, Elmaarko Jackson seems the most likely to get the nod, as he has the other two games Peterson had to sit out.
