Allen Fieldhouse is becoming a nightmare scene yet again, and the next victim of the student section is No. 1 Arizona. The Wildcats have made the long trip to Lawrence, Kansas, where they will face the Jayhawks and put thier undefeated record on the line.
Since head coach Bill Self has been leading the team, this is the first time Kansas will welcome an AP No. 1 team to Allen Fieldhouse. The building, nicknamed "The Phog," just celebrated its 1,000th game a little over a week ago when Kansas welcomed No. 13 BYU for College GameDay.
Students camped out for days in the building to get a premier seat for the historic game in Allen Fieldhouse, and they made sure to make life extremely difficult for the Cougars. Now, the students are proving yet again that they are built differently, camping out early for the potential Top 10 matchup.

Kansas and Arizona could become a Top 10 matchup before tipoff
As of Monday morning, the Jayhawks stand at No. 11 in the AP rankings, but after a huge win over No. 13 Texas Tech last Monday and then dominating Utah in the end on Saturday, Kansas could see a big jump. The AP rankings come out every Monday afternoon, and with a potential jump coming, this game could become even bigger before tipoff.
Arizona has been at No. 1 for most of the season, and it seems like they plan to keep a hold on that spot for the rest of the regular season. It seems like the only way the Wildcats will drop will be when they drop a game, and Kansas plans to hand them their first loss of the season Monday night.
Currently, Arizona is leading the Big 12 by one game over the Houston Cougars, who are 9-1 in the conference. Kansas is not far behind with an 8-2 record in the conference, but they could make up ground with a big win tonight. The Big 12 regular-season crown is not out of reach for Kansas just yet, but they need to win these big matchups to stay in the race.
