It's still a bummer for the Kansas faithful, but the fact of the matter is that talented big man Flory Bidunga won't be back next season. Yup, he has entered the transfer portal and several teams have emerged as serious contenders to sign him.
Are Louisville and Pat Kelsey in the driver's seat to get the job done? Things appear to be moving in that direction. Not only is Bidunga on his way to Louisville for an official visit, but an official prediction has arrived on On3 for him to pick the Cardinals. Is some breaking news on the way while he's on campus with the ACC side?

A Flory Bidunga prediction has arrived in favor of Louisville
That's right, on Bidunga's On3 page, there's 100 percent confidence, for now, that he's going to end up telling Michigan, Duke and others that he's going to play for Pat Kelsey. Obviously, nothing is locked in there and things could change in the coming days.
For now, though, Louisville fans are convinced that Kelsey is going to post a major recruiting win. There's certainly going to be some mixed emotions for KU supporters if this ends up being the case. On one hand, it's a relief he's not going to end up playing for a huge rival.
Still, there's disappointment knowing that he's not going to help Bill Self and Co. work to go on a deep run in the NCAA Tournament next season. Could this be a case of other schools putting a major NIL deal in front of Bidunga that the Jayhawks can't match? We don't want to speculate on things, but that's something that can't be disregarded either.
Per the 247Sports transfer rankings, Bidunga is a 5-star transfer and the No. 1 player overall in the portal. It's not a surprise at all that so many schools are showing him strong interest, but Louisville getting him in town for his first visit could end up being the difference-maker here. Will he commit? Again, we don't know for sure, but it's something the people in Lawrence should get mentally prepared for just in case.
