Kansas head coach has been hit hard by the transfer portal already this offseason, losing his entire starting lineup as well as prominent bench players. The first domino to fall after Self announced his return was big man Flory Bidunga, who declared for the NBA Draft to test the waters, but also entered the transfer portal.

Bidunga has already begun his search on the portal and even set his first official visit as well. An early prediction has Bidunga not going far to fellow Big 12 school Texas Tech, but his first official visit will actually be with Louisville.

As reported, Bidunga will be making an official visit to Louisville alongside former Oregon guard Jackson Shelstad. With Bidunga being one of the top players in the portal, this visit does come as a bit of a surprise, but it definitely won't make Kansas fans happy.

Flory Bidunga is one of the highest-rated players in the Transfer Portal

With the Transfer Portal officially open as of Tuesday, April 7, there are now thousands of players testing the waters with other schools. Now, some of those players will return to their original school while others will play in new uniforms next season.

Bidunga will be wearing a new uniform next season, but it just comes down to whether or not it will be in the NBA or college. It seems Bidunga will test the draft process and then withdraw before being locked into the NBA Draft.

In every ranking, Bidunga is ranked either at No. 1 or as one of the top players in the transfer portal. That is why this visit with Louisville is a bit of a head-scratcher. The Cardinals had a good season with an NCAA Tournament appearance in the Round of 32, but it just seems like there are bigger programs that Bidunga could find more success in.

Either way, Kansas fans are not going to be happy seeing Bidunga in another uniform at the college ranks next season, but at least if it is Louisville, it isn't in the Big 12 like Texas Tech.
