March Madness is just around the corner, and the Kansas Jayhawks are working with the wrong type of momentum. After losing back-to-back games against Arizona and Arizona State, the Jayhawks are set to take on rival Kansas State in hopes of finding a win before the Big 12 Tournament.

Heading into tournament season on a losing streak, even if it is just two losses, is not something any team wants. Even though the Jayhawks can get back on track against Kansas State, that still makes them 3-4 in their final seven games at the end of the regular season.

CBS Sports spoke about the Jayhawks this season, and there are a lot of questions circling around this Kansas team. The biggest question is whether or not this team will be fine heading into the NCAA Tournament, and Gary Parrish certainly is worried they won't be.

"I think ultimately this is going to be a season we look back on at Kansas... where it probably ends earlier than we previously anticipated," Parrish said.

There have been many things that have gone wrong for the Jayhawks this season, but the biggest definitely has to be the issues with star freshman Darryn Peterson. Peterson was meant to be the player this season who was going to lead Kansas back to a Big 12 Championship and a National Championship.

While there is still time to do both, there are questions about whether this team has played enough together at this point. With Peterson being out so many games due to injuries, cramping, or sickness, this team hasn't been able to gel as much on the court.

Problems like that tend to show a lot during the pressure of the NCAA Tournament. There were a lot of high hopes for Kansas, and the Jayhawks can certainly come out and prove people wrong, but this reality check from Parrish could have fans questioning if Kansas is ready.
