Kansas football delivered a statement win on Saturday, stunning No. 16 Colorado 37-21 in Kansas City. The Jayhawks leaned heavily on their run game and piled up an astounding 331 rushing yards. Devin Neal led the charge with one of the best performances of his college career, rushing for 213 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Facing a Colorado team that has been one of college football’s biggest storylines under Coach Prime, Kansas controlled the game from start to finish. They dominated the line of scrimmage, holding possession for over 40 minutes and limiting the impact of the Buffs' potent passing game with Shedeur Sanders under center.

The victory marked KU’s record-breaking third straight upset of a ranked opponent and kept their bowl hopes alive as they improved to 5-6 on the season. While this year hasn’t lived up to the preseason hype for Jayhawk fans, the team’s late-season resurgence has brought in new energy to the program.

Despite CU entering the game with aspirations of a Big 12 title game berth, the Jayhawks put those hopes in peril just like they did BYU and Iowa State. Kansas now turns its attention to a pivotal road matchup next Saturday against Baylor, where a win would secure bowl eligibility for the third straight season.

If you weren't already aware, Colorado is one of, if not the most, talked about college football teams in the country. It should come as no surprise that fans were throwing shade their way on X (formerly Twitter) given the confident nature of the squad. Take a look at some of the best social media reactions that users posted after the game.
