It has already been a decade and a half since college sports fans got to suit up as their favorite basketball players in EA Sports' NCAA Basketball 10. For more context, former Oklahoma Sooner Blake Griffin was the athlete on the cover of that video game.

However, the drought is nearly over after EA announced that it would release a new version of the game in the next few years, with Extra Points' Matt Brown reporting it would come in 2028.

However, the 18 years between the editions have led to fans missing out on the opportunity to play as some of their most beloved players. That undeniably includes the Kansas Jayhawks.

While players like Thomas Robinson and Marcus Morris won't be on this list because they technically played in 2009 and 2010, when the game was still being produced, here are some of the best Kansas men's players who fans never got to use in a college basketball video game.

Devonte's Graham didn't evolve into a first-round draft pick during his four-year tenure at Kansas. However, as the 34th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, he clearly made a name for himself among his peers.

During his final season for the Jayhawks, Graham averaged an astonishing 17.3 points, 7.2 assists, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game, skyrocketing his previous averages for his collegiate career.

The freshman class of 2013 was dominant for the Jayhawks, including star forward Andrew Wiggins, who went on to first overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. Despite playing just one year for Kansas, Wiggins was named the Big 12 Freshman of the Year and to the First-team All-Big 12.

Wiggins averaged 17.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game, starting in all 35 of his appearances for Kansas.

Since the turn of the century, Frank Mason III has been one of the greatest Kansas men's basketball players to date. Throughout his four-year-long career for the Jayhawks, Mason averaged 13.0 points, 4.0 assists, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game.

Imagine being able to posterize a bunch of 18-year-old basketball players as big man Joel Embiid. Sure, the former Kansas center only spent one season with the Jayhawks, but his dominance at the collegiate level led to him being taken third overall in the 2014 NBA Draft.

His ability to disrupt offenses and easily get to the rim would have made him a dynamically dominant player in the game. He averaged 11.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.6 blocks, and 1.4 assists per game.
