This weekend, the Kansas Jayhawks will kick off their 113th homecoming game in program history as they take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

As the Pokes come to town and the Jayhawks hope to even their record against conference opponents, the announcers in the booth make perfect sense for a homecoming matchup at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium.

Who are the announcers for Kansas vs. Oklahoma State?

  • TV: Mark Neely (play-by-play), Leger Douzable (analyst)
  • Radio: Brian Hanni (play-by-play), David Lawrence (analyst), and Brandon McAnderson (sideline)

While Leger Douzable played football and attended UCF, his teammate on Saturday will be long-time ESPN analyst Mark Neely, who attended and graduated from none other than the University of Kansas.

While one Jayhawk is in the booth for the ESPN+ broadcast, even more will be in the booth for the radio coverage.

Brian Hanni is known as "The Voice of the Jayhawks," which is also the name of his show that covers football, basketball, and more for Kansas. David Lawrence played football at Kansas and currently hosts "The Jayhawker Podcast." Last but not least, Brandon McAnderson is yet another former Jayhawk who hosts the "Crimson & Blue Show."

Kansas, which is currently a 24.5-point favorite over Oklahoma State, is undeniably set up for success when it comes to the voices that will be covering the matchup, especially as Jayhawk fans tune in to see or hear their team in action.

The Jayhawks (4-4 overall, 2-3 Big 12) and the Cowboys (1-7 overall, 0-5 Big 12) are scheduled to kick off on Saturday, Nov. 1, at 3 p.m. CT, and the game will be streamed on ESPN+.
