Wow, former Kansas Jayhawk Andrew Wiggins has been able to hold a standout career in the NBA. Since the age of 19, Wiggins has been a consistent scoring force and has totaled a career average of 18.5 points on an efficient 45% shooting rate from the field. Wiggins has seen the highs of a 2022 NBA Championship, an All-Star selection, and the league’s 2014-15 rookie of the year, but now Wiggins has just added to his highlight reel with an insane buzzer-beating alley-oop.

In the Miami Heat’s last game, a 140-138 overtime win against the Cleveland Cavaliers with both sides enduring up-and-down starts to the season, Wiggins made a superhuman play.

Wiggins has long shown that athleticism, and it is something that Kansas fans got a glimpse of during Wiggins’ lone year with the Kansas Jayhawks in the 2013-14 season. As a member of Bill Self’s squad, Wiggins totaled 17 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.2 steals, 1.5 assists, and 2.3 turnovers per game. Kansas finished the season with a 25-10 mark and exited the NCAA Tournament at the Sweet 16 stage after a 60-57 loss to the Stanford Cardinals.

Hailing from Huntington, West Virginia, Wiggins was named the nation’s best player in the class of 2013

Wiggins led a famous class that included a monster four five-stars who enrolled at Kansas. Behind Wiggins were Wayne Seldedn Jr. (12), Joel Embiid (13), and Brannen Greene (27). After a season that saw Wiggins be nominated to the AP All-America Second Team, the Cavs took a chance on Wiggins and selected him with the No. 1 overall pick.
