Kickoff time for Oklahoma vs. Kansas football after the Jayhawks bye week has been announced.

The Kansas Jayhawks (5-2, 2-2 Big 12) will receive some much-needed rest before what might be their toughest test of the season against Oklahoma (6-0, 3-0 Big 12). Stakes will be high as Lance Leipold’s group looks to obtain bowl eligibility versus another Oklahoma-based university after they failed to do so on the road in Stillwater.

Star quarterback Jalon Daniels hopes to return to the field for Kansas football after missing the previous three contests due to a back injury. He was on the sidelines for the first time during his absence, signaling he could be nearing his long-awaited rearrival.

The Big 12 Conference unveiled the time and channel these two teams will play against one another during KU’s homecoming. Here’s when and where to watch.

What time and channel is Oklahoma vs. Kansas football on?

For the first time in the 2023 season, Kansas football will play an afternoon game at 11:00 a.m. CT. All of the team’s conference games had come at 2:30 or 3:00 p.m. CT prior to the announcement, so it should be refreshing to wake up closer to game time. Two other games in the Big 12 will also be hosted at 11:00 a.m. CT (Houston vs. Kansas State, West Virginia vs. UCF).

Meanwhile, the bout will be aired on FOX for the second time in three weeks. That means KU’s past three games will have been broadcast on an affiliate of FOX because this past week was aired on FS1 (Fox Sports 1).

Last year, Oklahoma defeated Kansas in a shootout by a score of 52-42. The Sooners amassed over 700 total yards of offense, 403 of which were passing yards by QB1 Dillon Gabriel. The improved KU defense must perform far better than that if they want to upset the Big 12 favorites.
