3. Jayhawk fans can believe in Jason Bean moving forward

Jason Bean didn’t blow fans out of the water with his performance. His job was to be a game manager and to sell the running game. However, we wrote about why Kansas football fans should be confident in Bean moving forward, and he proved us right yesterday.

He gave the team more than enough to win the contest. The North Texas transfer has fully embraced doing whatever it takes to bring KU to the finish line, whether that means throwing the ball five or 50 times. There is no other phrase to describe him as other than a “team player.”

With Jalon Daniels likely missing next week’s contest against Oklahoma State in Stillwater, we will see Bean starting under center for at least one more week. Thankfully, that terrible Texas game is out of Bean’s mind, and he can continue improving each week.
