If Jalon Daniels cannot suit up this week against UCF, Kansas football fans should still be confident in Jason Bean to lead the Jayhawks to a victory.

There was a lot of criticism directed towards Kansas Jayhawks quarterback Jason Bean following the team’s 40-14 loss to Texas. Although it wasn’t his strongest performance, he is not to blame. KU was completely outmatched and outclassed by the No. 3 ranked Longhorns.

Jalon Daniels missed his second game of the season due to a recurring back injury. The likelihood of him playing this week is pretty slim if he cannot practice with the team in the next couple of days. However, I believe that Bean is more than capable of leading KU to a win over their Week 6 opponent, UCF.

It’s time to cut Jason Bean some slack. He needs more of an opportunity to show the strides he’s made during the offseason. There is a fair chance he’ll be able to showcase them in four days.

This is a short list of reasons Kansas football fans need to continue to believe in Jason Bean.
