2. Jalil Bethea

No. 12 ranked recruit in C/O 2024, No. 3 ranked SG

Bethea has dominated the AAU circuit this summer, which forced him to skyrocket up the rankings after being hardly being classified as a top-100 recruit heading into his junior year. In a short time, he has become one of the most highly coveted guards in his class.

The Pennsylvania native will choose between Kansas, Alabama, Syracuse, Villanova, and Miami (FL). Bethea is the prototypical guard for Bill Self. He can space the floor, create shots for others, hit the 3-ball, and play intense on-ball defense.

He will visit Kansas on the weekend of Sep. 1 along with fellow combo guard Jared Harris. His recruitment could last all the way until winter, as reports indicate that he is in no rush to make a college decision yet. A commitment from Bethea would instantly make him a pillar of KU’s future.
