Class of 2024 OT Harrison Utley is picking up steam with Kansas football, recently picking up a crystal ball selection to the Jayhawks.
A commitment might be looming for Lance Leipold and the Kansas Jayhawks football program. Offensive tackle Harrison Utley is scheduled to begin his official visit with KU this Friday, June 9, and Michael Swain of 247 Sports posted a crystal ball for him to attend Kansas.
Utley, a student at Norman North High School, is unranked on the primary recruiting sites (247 Sports and Rivals). However, he has continued to climb the ranks and could become a low-end three-star before his senior season. On3.com gives him a rating of 87 and ranks him as a three-star.
At 6-foot-4, 290 pounds, Utley offers good size at the offensive tackle position. He could spend some of his senior year growing into his frame. Utley is one of the more athletic linemen in his class and could become a premier player if he continues to build up his strength. At Kansas, he might play as an interior lineman rather than on the outside.

He has no other scheduled official visits, so if all goes well, Utley could commit to Kansas football soon after his OV concludes.
Offensive line coach Scott Fuchs and defensive coordinator Brian Borland are the two men primarily recruiting Utley. Fuchs has done a terrific job since he arrived in 2021, as KU had one of the best offensive lines in school history. All-Big 12 First Team selection Mike Novitsky is considered the best of the group.
Iowa State, Tulsa, Army, and others offered Utley a few months back. However, it seems as though Kansas is the frontrunner to land him.
