We took an early look at future opponents in Kansas football’s 2023 schedule as the Big 12 conference realignment shifted it.

The Kansas Jayhawks were one of the best stories in college football last season. After more than a decade of disappointment, quarterback Jalon Daniels and KU took the world by storm when they started the season 5-0. College Gameday even came to Lawrence for the first time in school history.

Although they finished just 6-7, Lance Leipold was the first head coach in years to finally put a competent product onto David Booth Memorial Stadium. Even bigger things are in store for the Jayhawks in 2023.

As always, Kansas will play three non-conference games and nine conference games. However, their opponents will slightly change with the conference realignment in the Big 12. BYU, UCF, Cincinnati, and Houston are the newest members, and Texas and Oklahoma will depart to the SEC following this season.

These are the twelve 2023 football opponents for the Kansas Jayhawks.
