2011 – Thomas Robinson

If it weren’t for one of the greatest college basketball teams in history, the 2011-12 Jayhawks would have another National Championship banner, and Thomas Robinson would be a Wooden Award winner. Unfortunately, Anthony Davis and a ridiculously stacked Kentucky team had other plans. Still, T-Rob had one of the best seasons in KU history. After coming off the bench for his first two seasons, Robinson was thrust into the starting lineup in his junior season and he never looked back. The big man exploded for nearly 18 points and 12 rebounds per game in his third and final college season. He was named Big 12 Player of the Year and was a first-team All-American. He isn’t a KU legend because of Davis and the Wildcats, but he is still one of the best players in the past 15+ years.
