Finding David McCormack

One of the most dominant scorers on the Jayhawks’ offense has been David McCormack, and it may seem like an obvious suggestion that Kansas should do everything they can to get the ball in his hands.

What you might not consider his 50% field goal percentage, which has made the junior forward an extremely reliable outlet for Kansas early on.

When Kansas does jump out front, it’s often done with support from Dave inside. He’s a quick find who has become much more consistent this season.

More. David McCormack will be a vital asset for Kansas against Baylor. light

As I’ve noted before, keeping David McCormack out of foul trouble will be a must. Head coach Bill Self can’t afford to lose his inside advantage late in the game, especially if it starts to get tight down the stretch.

A strong performance from McCormack would keep Kansas in this game, and with his progression throughout the year, I’d imagine we’ll see a good night from the junior.
