Kansas football quarterbacks to watch during 2021 spring practices

Conrad Hawley

Signing his way into the Jayhawks’ program in late January, Conrad Hawley is one of the highest decorated quarterbacks to commit their talents to Kansas.

Throwing for over 2,700 yards in his senior year at Raymore-Peculiar High School, Conrad has displayed quite a bit of talent at the high school level.

While Hawley had an impressive high school career, he’s moving into the Big 12. Many young athletes struggle to translate their skills at first. It could be a couple years before we see Hawley even start to take snaps during the regular season.

Some guys tend to pick it up very well though, and it could be a different story with Conrad.

Getting him snaps in the spring will be a given, and watching his progress leading into the fall will be another task for new OC Mike DeBord.
