Kansas football is trending with talented three-star corner Chase Lowery
Kansas football’s 2021 recruiting class is doing well, and the Jayhawks are in the hunt for another highly-touted recruit in Chase Lowery.
Kansas football head coach Les Miles and his staff have done an excellent job recruiting the class of 2021. They’ve landed some really good prospects, and the next could be cornerback Chase Lowery out of Frisco High School in Texas.
So far, Lowery holds offers from a number of schools including Oregon State, Arizona, Washington State, Iowa State, Texas Tech, Kansas State, and Purdue. He recently named his top 11 schools, and the Kansas Jayhawks made the cut for the talented three-star corner.
If Lowery chooses to commit to Kansas football, he’d be the second-highest rated recruit in the class behind Lawrence native Devin Neal according to 247 Sports. The 2021 class currently ranks No. 27 in the nation, so a commitment from Lowery would easily put the Jayhawks in the top 25.

His stats from last football season include 48 tackles, four interceptions, and eight pass breakups. Lowery is also a capable return man in addition to being a solid defensive back.
After watching some of his highlights, it’s obvious why Lowery is raking in so many offers from big schools.
Standing at only six feet tall, Lowery laid some big hits, and his athleticism was on display as a return man, receiver, and corner. Lowery can jump with the best of them, and he seems like he’d be a really solid addition to Kansas football’s secondary one day should he choose to join the Jayhawks’ recruiting class.
Even if Kansas ultimately misses on Lowery, the class is still in really good shape this early in the whole process. It’ll be extremely exciting to see where the group ranks here in a few months since this class could be one of the highest-rated in the past few years at Kansas.
