2. Win a Big 12 basketball championship

Losing “The Streak” was blow to many Kansas basketball fans’ pride.

The Kansas Jayhawks failed to win the Big 12 regular season in 2019 for the first time in 14 years. It’s time to get back to the top in 2020, and the Jayhawks are more than capable.

Kansas is 10-2 so far this season as the Jayhawks look to open conference play with a matchup against #16 West Virginia at Allen Fieldhouse. Along with the Mountaineers, #6 Baylor, and #22 Texas Tech, Kansas must have one of the best chances to win the Big 12 this season.

According to KenPom, the Jayhawks are expected to win every single one of their conference games this season; however, that seems unlikely. The Big 12 is strong this season and it should be a six or seven NCAA tournament bid conference easily.

It all starts this Saturday, January fourth against West Virginia though. It’s important that Kansas starts 2020 off with a win, especially since West Virginia is a contender. You can catch the Jayhawks take on the Mountaineers on ESPN+ at 3:00 PM.
