Through The Phog has now looked at the point guards and wings in the 2017 class, so now it’s time to dive into the big men. Who are Kansas basketball’s top targets?

Just like we did in the previous two writeups on point guards and wings, we’ll break down the prospects’ games, give you a little insight into their recruitments, and provide an idea of where Kansas stands.

The way we’re approaching this, instead of just listing interest or offers, is to list a tier level for each target. This will give you a better idea of which guys you should really pay attention to, and which are probably not worth the effort.

Tier 1 will be the high priority, top target guys that Head Coach Bill Self and staff want the most. Tier 2 will show some guys that are just a step below on the list, either because they don’t quite have a true “commit now” offer, or because Kansas might not be their current top choice based on what we’ve heard. Tier 3 will have a few guys that have been mentioned heavily with Kansas, possibly have an offer, but in reality are not a legitimate option for one reason or another.
