This Saturday, Kansas is set to take on Fresno State in what will be a week zero matchup for the Jayhawks, as Kansas is granted the opportunity to play a game much earlier than a majority of other teams in the nation.
Kansas will be hosting Fresno State in the freshly renovated David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium this Saturday at 5:30 PM CT. As the deserved hype builds around this team, it is imperative to not look over opponents, so today we will be taking a look at who we believe Fresno State's most dangerous players.
On Monday, Fresno State's depth chart was released where cornerback Al'zillion Hamilton made the was given a starting spot. Last season Hamilton was an All-Mountain West honorable mention where he started all 13 games for the Bulldogs had 52 total tackles added 4.5 TFL, 1.0 sack, two forced fumbles to go with two interceptions. Last season, Hamilton had the fourth-most passes defended in the FBS with 15, marking 1.2 per game.
Our second player on the list is defensive end Korey Foreman. Foreman is a former five-star who was ranked as the 3rd-best player in the class of 2021, where he spent three seasons at USC before transferring to Fresno State last season. For the Bulldogs, Foreman appeared in 12 games where he had 24 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks, three forced fumbles, four quarterback hurries and two pass breakups.
Lastly on our list is quarterback E.J. Warner. Warner is a senior with a wealth of experience. Warner has spent his career at both Temple and Rice. Last season, for the Owls, Warner totaled the fifth-most passing yards in Rice's history, where he totaled 2,710 yards and 17 touchdowns.
