Selection Sunday is finally here, and Kansas basketball fans are eagerly waiting to see where the Jayhawks will be placed in the NCAA Tournament. After a rollercoaster season filled with ups and downs, KU’s streak of 34 consecutive tournament appearances is set to continue. How can fans watch the event?

Where is Selection Sunday televised?

Selection Sunday will be televised on CBS at 5 p.m. CT for the men’s bracket reveal. The NCAA will release the bracket region by region, unveiling matchups for all four quadrants of the tournament.

For the women’s NCAA Tournament, the bracket will be announced later in the evening on ESPN at 7 p.m. CT.

When does March Madness begin?

The road to the Final Four officially tips off with the First Four games on March 18-19, featuring teams battling for the final tournament spots. Then, the action intensifies as the first round begins on March 20-21.

This year’s Final Four is set for April 5, with the National Championship Game on April 7 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The Jayhawks hope to be playing deep into March, but they will need to overcome their recent struggles to make a run.

Where are the Kansas Jayhawks projected to land on Selection Sunday?

Kansas is projected to receive a No. 7 seed in the NCAA Tournament, which would be the lowest seed KU has received under head coach Bill Self. The Jayhawks suffered an early exit in the Big 12 Tournament quarterfinals against Arizona, capping off an underwhelming regular season.

Kansas never found its dominant form this year. However, with Self at the helm and a roster still chock full of talent, the Jayhawks will look to shake off their struggles and make a deep tournament run.
