No. 2 - Wayne Simien, 78.4%, 2001-2005

Another great player from this century is Wayne Simien. He is a top 10 rebounder in program history, despite missing over 30 games in his career due to injury. He was also a terrific scorer, tallying 1,593 points for KU.

Like Mason, he had a season where he averaged over 20 points a game. For his career, averaged 15.0 points and 8.3 rebounds.

He was a stellar free throw shooter, making 417 out of his 532 attempts. Like Mason, he was outstanding from the line during his last two campaigns, shooting 380 free throws and connecting on 309 of them, good for an incredible 81.3%.

Injuries curtailed Simien from maybe reaching the upper echelon of KU greats, but he was certainly a fantastic player and his name appears high in numerous statical categories.
