Several Kansas Jayhawks attend 2024 NIL Summit

A handful of Kansas Jayhawks student-athletes are present at the NIL Summit in Atlanta, Georgia. Kansas football stars Devin Neal and Jalon Daniels, Kansas basketball's All-American center Hunter Dickinson, Kansas women's basketball standout S'Mya Nichols, Kansas women's soccer star Siera Herbert, and Kansas women's swimmer Lezli Sisung are the six representing KU.

The NIL Summit website described the three-day event as the following: "Institutions of higher-education across the nation are invited to nominate student-athlete delegates to represent their athletic programs and teams at the Summit. Student-athlete delegates will have an opportunity to attend more than a dozen classes, workshops, panels and keynote conversations at the NIL Summit on topics like: influencer marketing, content creation, personal brand management, wealth building, entrepreneurship and career growth."

Last year, Daniels and Neal attended the summit together. Kansas football's QB was awarded the 2023 Male Scholar Athlete of the Year award.
