Selection Sunday 2024: Time, Date & How to Watch Men's and Women's Basketball Special

The Kansas basketball program had a successful year in 2023-24. While the men's team did not meet its expectations as the preseason No. 1 school, they are still expected to secure a high seed in the NCAA Tournament. Meanwhile, the women's team will likely make its second March Madness appearance in the past 11 seasons thanks to a strong stretch to close out the regular season.

This weekend, Jayhawk head coaches Bill Self and Brandon Schneider will learn their fate on Selection Sunday, the selection process that selects the teams and seedings in the NCAA Tournament. There are 32 teams that receive automatic bids by winning their conference tournament and 36 teams that make it at-large by being picked by the selection committee.
