G Jalen Leach - Fairfield

2023-24 Statistics: 32 G, 16.2 PPG, 4.1 RPG, 3.0 APG, 1.8 SPG, 48.8% FG, 1.4 3PM, 35.4% 3PT

After serving as a role player at Fairfield for three years, Leach developed his offensive game to a different level as a senior. He is entering the portal as a grad transfer with one year of eligibility remaining. He can score in a multitude of ways and could serve as a 2-guard or a small hybrid forward.

Leach does the majority of his scoring around the rim, whether they be transition layups or floaters off of ball screens. However, he can pop the occasional three if the defense leaves him open. The New York native is also a hustle player who could be a nice addition to KU's second unit if he is willing to play limited minutes in Lawrence.
