Now that the Kansas basketball season is over, it is time to start looking at players the team is targeting in the portal. Here are each of the transfers the Jayhawks' coaching staff has reached out to.

F Jeff Nwankwo - Cowley College

2023-24 Statistics (JUCO): 32 G, 18.6 PPG, 7.6 RPG, 2.1 APG, 2.0 SPG, 50.2% FG, 2.0 3PM, 38.7% 3PT

Nwankwo has entered the transfer portal after playing two years at Cowley College, a JUCO in Arkansas City, Kansas. He is an effective wing defender who can drive to the hoop or shoot beyond the arc if needed.

The 6-foot-6 forward is one of the top JUCO players on the market and confirmed he was in contact with KU's coaching staff. His hometown is Lawrence, so he could definitely be a player for fans to keep an eye on.
