G Tony Perkins - Iowa

2023-24 Statistics: 34 G, 14.0 PPG, 4.4 RPG, 4.6 APG, 1.6 SPG, 43.2% FG, 0.9 3PM, 29.9% 3PT

The final player on this list is the first non-mid-major transfer that Kansas has publicly contacted. A native of Indianapolis, Perkins played four seasons at Iowa before entering the portal as a graduate transfer

Perkins is not your typical combo guard, but he offers some size at 6-foot-4, 210 pounds. He is a hustle player who dives for loose balls and stays active on the defensive end. His perimeter defense is considered one of his bigger strengths.

He looks to score fairly often and often serves as a ball handler in the pick-and-roll. Perkins can find the open man and make the right pass at most times. His efficiency is a cause for concern, but he makes lots of plays that do not show up on the box score.
