Here is the new batch of transfer portal players that Kansas basketball has been linked to.
G Dante Maddox Jr. - Toledo
2023-24 Statistics: 32 G, 15.6 PPG, 4.3 RPG, 2.8 APG, 1.4 SPG, 43.8% FG, 2.3 3PM, 40.2% 3PT
Maddox is a 6-foot-2 combo guard who shoots the ball well from beyond the arc. He finishes hard at the rack despite his size and made the All-MAC team in 2023-24. Previously in the 2022-23 season, he shot the three at an even higher clip at 45.1% on 4.1 attempts per game.
There is no world where Dajuan Harris does not receive the bulk of point guard minutes next year. However, Maddox could serve as a bench piece if he is willing to take a smaller role, especially because he excels in the catch-and-shoot game (61% EFG).
