Tier 2: Baby Jays

1. KJ Adams

KJ Adams gave it his all, as he always has. He battled and tried to help slow the pick-and-roll problems with his rotations but couldn't cover up all our issues. KJ was 5-for-12 on the day. He finished with 10 points, six rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one turnover. KJ will be a senior next year, but when asked if he will be back next year, KJ said he doesn't know yet. The reality is that KJ, Hunter, and Harris are a terrible fit together on the floor. If all three come back, we will see the same problems we saw this year, assuming neither KJ nor Harris take a major step forward with their shot. KJ is the ultimate Jayhawk and gives his all every game. I hope he comes back, but it will be interesting to see what he decides.

2. Nicolas Timberlake

Nicolas had a terrible regular season and never lived up to his preseason hype. However, he did play well in his two NCAA Tournament games. Timberlake started and went 3-from-8 from the field. He finished with nine points, six rebounds, one assist, and no turnovers. As a super senior, he played his last game for the Jayhawks.
