CB Cobee Bryant: Stay

Cobee hasn't publicly been linked to other schools, but there had been murmurs that Kansas is trying to fend off other programs so that he can spend his final year of eligibility in Lawrence. One would think that the Alabama native has been hearing from the likes of Nick Saban, Lane Kiffin, and potentially others. He has also been constantly hinting at leaving on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram.

We think that this is all for show. Bryant has proved his dedication to the program by sticking around last year, and there's no reason to believe it has wavered. While we can't argue that going to Alabama or Georgia would better his chances of making the NFL, schools of that caliber also might not be able to guarantee him a Day 1 starting spot.

His wingman at the cornerback position is returning and he has been hinting at doing the same on social media. The two have quietly formed one of the best defensive back tandems in the nation, and it would be good for both of them if the duo stuck around. I'd give it a 75% chance that we see Cobee in a Kansas football uniform in 2024.
