The Kansas football team had no trouble taking care of business against the Lindenwood Lions this past Thursday, cruising to a 48-3 victory in the season opener.
Early in the second quarter, redshirt junior running back Daniel Hishaw Jr. took a third-down run to the 1-yard line. A Lindenwood defender pushed him out of bounds right before he was able to cross the pylon, and Hishaw lost his balance until he crashed into a woman on the sidelines. See it for yourself:
She took all of that hit from Kansas running back Daniel Hishaw quite well.

We've seen countless times in the past when someone on the sideline is pummeled and the ball carrier does not look at the person caught in the crossfire — not to say those players are in the wrong, but it was particularly refreshing to see Hishaw help the woman up and check on her wellbeing before heading back to the offense's huddle.

After Hishaw helped her up and made sure she was okay, Lance Leipold made his way over to check on her too 👏 pic.twitter.com/BNxCHAaU3e
The best part of this moment was when head coach Lance Leipold made his way to the woman once the drive was over to check if she was fine. Class acts from both Hishaw and Leipold.
