Kansas football: Cobee Bryant's ball-hawk interception leads to Jayhawks passing TD
Cobee Bryant turned the tide of the Guaranteed Rate Bowl
After surrendering an opening touchdown to the UNLV Rebels in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl, the Kansas football defense stepped up with a 3-and-out on the next drive. After they began to move the ball again, junior cornerback Cobee Bryant caught a pick off of Jayden Maiava.
See it for yourself.
It was the fourth interception of the season for Bryant and the ninth of his career. Just four plays later, Jason Bean found Luke Grimm for a 60-yard touchdown — the second time of the day that the duo connected on a score.
Kansas now leads 14-7 with 11:37 remaining in the contest.
