Tier 2: Baby Jays

4. Dajuan Harris

Juan looked like a mouse caught in a trap in the first half. Missing all of his shot attempts and had four turnovers at the half. His defense wasn't as sticky as it had been in the past and looked like he was on his way to another terrible showing. Dajuan bounced back in the second half and made two huge plays down the stretch to help the Jayhawks win. He hit the big floater to give us the lead with 43 seconds left and then had a nice pass to set up Hunter for the game-winner. A veteran presence! This is what we need down the stretch. Hopefully, the consistency will start to come back for entire games and not just stretches going forward. Juan finished with 10 points, eight assists, three rebounds, and five turnovers.

5. Johnny Furphy

Johnny got 10 minutes of action today. He had his ups and downs, but played during crunch time as Self opted to have Johnny help close out the game. He made several big plays, attacked the glass and did a better job of moving his feet on defense. Furphy finished with four points, three rebounds, one assist, one block, and one turnover.

6. Nicolas Timberlake

Nicolas played 11 minutes and had some good moments. He finished a transition bucket and knocked down an open 3-pointer on his way to a 2-for-3 shooting day. Timberlake finished with five points, one rebound, one assist, one steal and one turnover. A decent showing for Nicolas, as he is still trying to get more consistent and show he belongs to get some minutes.
