Welcome to Big 12 Basketball. It wasn't pretty, in fact, ugly at times, but the Kansas Jayhawks do what we always do and just find a way to win! KU fans get ready to keep winning ugly. Embrace the grind. Going into the game, KU had won 28 of their last 29 home games in Allen Fieldhouse. That one loss, last year to TCU by 23 points.

It was a back-and-forth first half with KU going into the break up 41-40. It was a 3 man-wrecking crew in the first half led by Hunter Dickinson's 18-point first half.

The second half saw Trevian Tennyson catch fire and knock down shot after shot on his way to 24 points on the day. With 57 seconds left Ernest Udeh made the biggest play of the game in his return to Allen Fieldhouse.

He tipped and stole the ball with TCU up by two. In the process, he elbowed Hunter, who hit the floor. After a review, it was determined a Flagrant foul. Hunter went to the free throw line calmly tied the game making both free throws and we got the ball back.

Dajuan Harris threw in a lucky flying layup to give us the lead with 43 seconds remaining. TCU tied the game again and then it was Big Hunt time. With a nice feed from Juan, Hunter knocked in a close shot to seal the game with 3.4 seconds left. 83-81 Rock Chalk!
